JSL Electrical Services ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

If you fill in the enquiry form we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address (if provided), town or postcode, the type of work you need and your message. Nothing else is collected — this site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we collect it

We use those details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out and invoice the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to someone who has asked us to get in touch) and, where the work proceeds, performance of a contract.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is emailed to us and is not sold or shared for marketing. The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes the request in order to deliver the message; your email provider and ours will also process it in transit. We do not transfer your details to anyone else without your say-so.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within 12 months. Where work goes ahead, we keep records for as long as we are required to for tax, certification and warranty purposes (normally six years, and longer for electrical certificates).

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@jslelectricalservices.com or write to us at the address below. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
